What to Expect

Welcome to Dearborn United Methodist Church. We invite you to learn more about what to expect on this page. We warmly invite you to join us for worship or any event that interests you. We hope this page answers some of your questions and gives an understanding of what to expect when you arrive at our church.

Worship

We have Bibles and hymnals in the rack under each chair for use during the service. We use TVs in our worship services to project hymns, Bible verses, and special messages that require visuals or sound. Our 9:30 AM Service uses more contemporary songs in the form of lyric videos. Worship at 11 AM is traditional in style; we sing hymns accompanied by piano. Dress is usually casual and comfortable; shorts are common in the summer, and jeans are common in the winter.
We serve Holy Communion (Lord's Supper) on the first Sunday of each month. Gluten-free bread is available, and all are welcome to receive the bread and juice.

We hope you will join us in worshiping God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Where to Park:

The church has a large parking lot beside our Fellowship Hall, also known as Shannon Hall, or there are a few parking spots by the sanctuary for easy access or drop off.

North of the building is our parking lot
